MY STORY
Hey there! My name is MK and I am a musician hailing from Greensboro, NC, though I now live in the Triangle. I spent most of my childhood and adolescence learning how to play just about every instrument I could get my hands on. Later on, I graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a degree American Studies and a minor in Music. I am now pursuing a career in music (though by day you can find me behind the cheese counter at Whole Foods!). Looking to try out a new hobby? I offer down-to-earth virtual lessons in guitar, bass, and piano at affordable, flexible rates. Let's talk!

FAQ
What do you wanna know?
WHAT ARE YOUR RATES?
I offer 30 minute lessons at $25/lesson and 45 minute lessons at $30/lesson. However, I strongly believe that music to be accessible to all. I am absolutely willing to negotiate or work out a trade.
WHAT SKILL LEVELS DO YOU TEACH?
I prefer to teach beginner-intermediate players. I love teaching people who are totally new to playing an instrument. This is a judgement-free zone!
WHAT TYPE OF MUSIC DO YOU TEACH?
I specialize primarily in rock, folk, and more generally "popular music." I am happy to venture into jazz and classical territory and often do; however, if you're looking for an expert in those genres, that's not me. I am happy to recommend talented friends if that is the case.
